Is it safe?

I bought a 2” hippo on June 10 and this coming Sunday will be 4 weeks that he’s in a QT tank. So far so good, he’s very active and eating well. There is no ich on his body even I check him with a magnifier glass, but once in a while he flashes his body to the big snail shell which uses for the hiding. Is it safe to put him in the DT or wait for couple more weeks?

IMO, it would appear that is is safe if he has been qt'd for 4wks.

Id wait at least one more week just to make sure theres nothing wrong

Have you medicated him or done hypo while he has been in qt. If not you may want to wait a little longer to make sure, if so then you are probably all right. I normally qt for three or four weeks.
