Is KH and Alk same thing?

My KH is about 6, how do I raise it? My PH is fine.

To raise kH, buy kH buffer. I like SeaChem's Reef Builder. It always works very well for me.
kH and alkalinity are different ways of measuring carbonate hardness.

alkalinity is the capacity of water to neutralize an acid
