Is medicine really neccessary?

you know I've had my tanks up for a long while and I've been through the many diseases of parasites and my cleaner shrimps has always taken care of the fishies
no more disease
most people argue that the natural way is not the best way going about dealing with the situation but I have found it to be saving me money and my fish are parasite free and happy
what is your opninion in this?
why go through all the treatments?

If I have lice in my hair, I might be able to get rid of a lot of them with a lice comb, but I still have lice
However, if I use RidLice, or whatever, then I can be rid of the pest!
Bottom line is that you may be able to control ich with biological cleaners, but the fish still has the infection. If the fish still has the infection, then the parasites are being fed in order to live and reproduce. And what do you think they are feeding on??

my shrimps don't clean my fish anymore, they feed on what I feed them
