I have been cycling a 5 gal nano for about a month or more, just this week the brown algae that signals the end of the cycle has showed up, My question is, can I start adding things now, or do I wait for the brown to go away??? I am going to just start with some snails and hermitts.
What would you suggest for a cleanup crew and fish??
I was thinking 1 or 2 fish?? what do you suggest?
Is a tamato clown to big for a 5 gal, what clown would you suggest, its actually in my brothers room and he really wants a tamato clown.
Thanks for all your help.

What are your water parameters? If ammonia and nitrite are zero than the cycle is over. Do a 1 gallon or so water change and then you would be safe to add a clean up crew. Tomato clowns are too big for a 5 gallon, I have one in my 35 and hes pretty big and hes not even full size yet.
You could probably do a single ocellaris clown.

Did you use anything to jump start your cycle? Raw shrimp, damsels, etc?
damsel no im sure since he is asking if he can add fish.
Besides that just cruel. If you don't kill it, you will stress it a ton.
I'm guessing just LR, and LS, but test that water when your kit comes in.
