Swim room is your big thing. W the fish u have,u have plenty of that. I keep a descent amount of smaller fish in my 75 but they require little swimming room

I hear ya. Lol my tang and fox are pigs! I prob over feed so my Mandy's and fire fish get enough food. But I beefed up my cuc to help w uneating food. Although I never see any. Shrimps are great scavenges, but w your lion they'd be dinner lol

Once that Thalassoma wrasse reaches maturity, it's most likely going to become a real bully, esp. since it's "undertanked". Your P. radiata lionfish is a prime victim, since they're extremely mellow...I've seen banana wrasses harass lionfishes to death in the past.

Also realize that torpedo-shaped fishes such as your goby are easily swallowed, so your lionfish might decide it looks tasty. Your clownfish is at risk as well. In the wild, P. radiata
tends to feed mostly on crustaceans, but they won't turn down a fish if they're hungry.

Butterflies and angels are browsing fishes, so they're just doing what comes naturally when they pick at the rocks. In fact, if you're not offer the angelfish some form of vegetable matter (nori/algae sheets, blanched leaf vegetables, etc) and sponges, it won't be getting the right nutrition. The butterfly would appreciate a gel-type food smeared onto a piece of rock (let it "set" in the fridge before placing it in the tank).

Thanks I could see the bully thing. Siperfriendly now but hes extreme when it comes to food goby is already decent size and lion is small so maybe theyll get used to eachother... any awesome suggestions for wrasse replacement if necessary

Cuc is slang for clean up crew. Shrimp, snails, hermits,ECT. They help clean the tank. I agree w sax, some type of seaweed sheets should be offered a few times a wk. The gel foods are easy to use as well

Halichoeres sp. wrasses are a lot less aggressive than Thalassoma sp. It depends on how large your radiata gets as to which one, but I do like H. caludia (Christmas wrasse) the best.

BTW, lionfishes only require about 4-6 "eye-sized" pieces of food about 3x a week. We feed our lions M-W-F with weekends off.

Just to make sure, this is the species you have, right?
