Is my damsel in distress?

I have a yellow tail damsel that was very aggresssive towards my other fish. I captured the damsel and put him in my sump/refugium. He has been in there for about 4 or 5 months now. The sump/refugium is lit 24/7 and I was wondering if the constant light would be bothering him? I was considering releasing hom back into my community tank and wanted to know if being out of the main tank all this time would have calmed him down some? There are 3 engineer gobies which are all 6 inches or better, a lawnmower blennie which is about 4 inches long, a 3 inch occelaris clown, a 4 inch fairy wrasse, a firefish which is about 3 inches and a rainford gobie which is only about an inch and a half. The damsel is about an inch or so. Do you think he would bother these fish now that he would be the last one to go in?
