Is my Emerald Crab dying??

Ok so i got home today and notices my emerald flat on his back,and not even moving. so we grabbed the aquarium picker-upper and put him on a rock. he moved his legs a bit,but fell over again. is he possibly trying to molt, or is he dying???

Its hard 2 tell are u sure its n0t a m0lt already they will hide after m0lting, any m0re inf0/pics might help
 
ok, i did some reasearch and discovered that it is molting, he has become very rigid and this is a sign of molting. He is also on his back. this is also a sign. i hope he has a successful molt, wish him luck.

Well today i am in mourning. Yes the emerald crad has expired. He was in the process of molting ,but the bristle worms got to the poor little guy before he could finish. he is in a better place, now

are you sure he didn't molt and the worms were gong after the molt?
did you notice a hatch open in the rear of the emerald?
