I have a snowflake eel and this morning i saw him out of his cave and part of his body looks swollen and he tends to lie upside down
Is my fish going to die?

What are you feeding?
SFEs are very hardy but If you are only feeding one type of food they can develop liver problems. A variety of food (shrimp, squid, clams, mussells, scallops, and some white fish) is recommended.
How often are you feeding?
Eels do not eat alot in the wild. Most eat every two to three days.
Are any of your fish missing?
Obvious reason for a swollen belly.
Do you have snails or crabs?
He may have eaten a shell that was not completely chewed up.
