is my hawkfish an ------- by nature?

i put the little fish back in the tank...i surrounded him with live rock so he can get out but i don't think the bully hawkfish can get in. when will he stop swimmin upside down? is the hawk fish not getting enough food, or is he just an

i did research it. it says it MAY attack shrimp. no big deal. it doesn't say other fish almost it's size, and 3 weeks after they have been tank mates. what do i do in the morning? is there some kind of treatment i can give the injured fish? thanks for your help.

What kind of hawk is it? I have never heard of one attacking fish either.

I had a flame hawk that never bothered fish or shrimp. However, I have a friend with a flame hawk and it acts just like yours. She finally had to get it out of the tank. He attacked several and killed a couple of fish. She has a 175 gallon so space was not an issue. I think like all living creatures, some don't fit what is considered normal for their genus.
