Hey everyone, i'm on the last step of setting up my 90 gal......LIGHTS. I just ordered a Delux combo hood system from reeffanatic.com. Its a Hamilton Delux hood system with 2 MH bulbs (175 watts each) and then it also has 2 Normal Output (40 watt) flourescent bulbs. Thats a total of 430 watts. Is that enough to have a reef with some nice corals??

Yes, but I would be a little worried about keeping sps anywhere but in the top half on the aquarium. 90g are deep and would probably need 250w x 55wpc to keep anything any where. but you would be ok for most corals in most of your tank.

sps is small polps stone. it is really hard to maintain this coral. need a lot of calcium and high lightning to grow.
