is my ricordea dying? reproducing?

Bought this one at the end of June. Here's what it looked like shortly after I brought it home:

It seemed to be doing fine for a week or so, I had it in the center of the tank, and it was getting quite a bit of light. Pretty soon, it started to detach itself from the rock it came on, and color began to fade. (it wasn't in a high-flow area) So I moved it to an area of little flow, but farther from the light. It has reattached itself since then, (was barely hanging on at one point). What is happening to a mushroom when it has wrinkles? It obviously can't put itself into a flat disc anymore like last month...
Here are a few pic's of what it looks like now:

All my $5 frags seem to be doing fine, its the ones that are expensive that are acting up...

It looks fine. Yumas are very tempermental. I would leave it alone and not bother it anymore. Make sure there is not strong flow on it. It can change color a bit. Also feed it once or twice a week. Place small tiny peices of chopped silverside, brine shrimp, mysis or high quality pellet food on it. If the food sticks it will eat it, if it doesn't but rolls off do not bother it for another week. They do require iodine supplementaion and make sure your calcium levels, ph are within standard parameters.

Update:
Since then I've added a little iodine and after a water change (I do weekly about 1.5 G) the ricordea has let go of the rock it was on, here is where it used to be (at center):

and here it is in rehab:

Spreading out and it is getting some color back, too.

PS. I think my water just went bad real quick. I saw a decline in other corals too and did a 5G water change. I think there is about 15G in the tank total, because that was a big chunk of the water present. Just one of those things, I guess. (actually I know why, but I don't want to tell you) I'll be posting my fts in another forum. 24G jbj nano, a little over 8 months old, just replaced the stock lights with new bulbs.
