Hey guys,
I have had this scolymia for about a year, lately he formed a split along one side in the soft tissue. At first I thought; uh-oh he is receding, but now I'm not sure. He continues to act healthy, will swell up nicely during feeding and the slit in the tissue looks to be rather healed along the split more than
damaged. No other recession around the rest of the guy. The split is
heading directly toward the mouth, but I don't really see any signs of the mouth trying to split, yet...
I've never heard that the scolymia splits, how could the hard shell ever split?
