Is old bleached decorative coral safe?

I have some decorative coral and old base rock that is at least 20 years old. My question is this: Is this coral safe for a new tank? Thanks for the help.

I dont see why it wouldnt be safe.I know I used some in my 30 and now thats its covered in coralline it really gives the tank a natural reef look,IMO.
