Is she laying eggs or its sick?

I have a (Echidna rhodochilus) the so called freshwater eel. I have it in my Brackish water tank. This morning she started to be more active than normal and in the afternoon was just still and a bump-like thing was trying to come out of his anus. Few hrs later it has many eggs looking things coming out, but all attached.
Anyone have any info on how eels lay eggs or pictures? I cant find anything online or here.

We had saltwater eels before and they mated and what came out was a big yellow ball of eggs. Not sure if that helps you at all.
