Is the C.A.D.S. system & the Dialyseas effective???
For those who doesnt know the C.A.D.S. system is a self cleaning filter with protein skimmer & UV all together.
The Dialyseas is a "compliment" to this system that helps filter & purify the water (Similar to Dialysis process).
Is it worth spending $6k+ in this filter system???

... And that's the price for JUST the standalone filter system! That doesnt include lights, fans, chiller or even the tank!!!
This system is recomended for tanks from 150 upto 2000 gals.
Is it worth it???
Im still wondering...

It really is amazing, but... $6k... I think that that is the price I'll have to pay to have an "automatic" saltwater tank.
BTW, I have a refugium, 2 protein skimmers & x 20 times (+) per hour water recycle... but I am (or was, not sure yet) planning on installing a BIG tank... but at this price... I'll have to wait a bit...

BTW; The chiller in the pic, IT'S OPTIONAL!!! & varies depending on the tank & temp...

I just saw a tank with the full Dialyseas system. It was pretty darn sweet. Tank size was 600 gallons, skimmer a larger Bubbleking etc etc. As far as I know the system is under $4K. If you have a really large tank and don't have time for water changes etc, then this is the thing for you.

It looks like it's just simply an "all in one" filter. With an RO/DI, a sump, skimmer, a UV etc. It doesnt appear to have a refugium. IMO, it's sweet lookin' but for a lot less, you could get a whole lot more.

Very true. This gadget takes care of your water changes and everything, all automated. All you do is add more salt to the container and decide how many gallons do you want to have *osmosed* per day. I didn't get to hear all of the things the system does, but perfect for someone who has no time to do water changes and/or just wants all possible gadgets.

IMO....a waste of money.....automated water changes can be done alot cheaper.....roughly $300.00 and you'd have tons of money left over to buy more worthwhile equipment......

Probably because they are still asking 6 grand for it.
I agree. with acrylic, a couple dosing pumps and a rubbermaid and bammo, constant water change. IMO,, it's a total waste. Plus it doesnt have a refugium.
