Is their any automated way to monitor a thread?

In many sites it is possible to monitor active threads and be notified by email whenever someone posts on that thread. Is there such a capability on this site? Sometimes I post an answer or question and have trouble later finding that post to determine if there have been any more answers or questions. Am I missing something here?

Nope, you're not missing anything. We don't have that feature here. It would be nice, though. On the other hand, if you spend a lot of time on the BB, like I do, then getting an email every time you post will get a bit overwhelming, for me at least.

Ed R,
If you really want to keep track of a thread, then bookmark/add it to your favorites. Then you can find it when you want to. Delete it when you are done.

Um, am I bein' stupid?...lol
What I usually do is just click on my profile and then click "view recent posts". Just the easiest way I found to keep track of threads that I am on.
I got so many bookmarks I can't find THOSE half the time, hehe <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" />

I just discovered the profile listing of posts last night. I hadn't even thought of bookmarking. A combination of those should do alright. Thanks for the suggestions.
