In about a year I am hoping to try and breed TP clowns.. I have a 10 and a 29 gallon tank. In my 29 gallon tank I have two damsels and one TP clown. I should be getting another TP clown in a couple of months. When I have my 10 gallon tank ready in a year I'm gonna take my damsels out and take them back to the fish store and only keep the 2 TP clowns for them to bond together. When they have eggs, after a about 3 weeks or so i'm gonna take the parents out and put them in the 10 gallon tank. And then hatch the eggs with a flash light.
Is that a good idea? now my main question is, is there any other food that I can feed the fry after they're born other than rotifiers? Or could the babies eat dried rotifiers from the fish store? I also have the book Joyce D. Wilkerson too.. thanks everyone please feel free to tell me anything that's wrong with the way that I hope to breed my clowns in the future..

IME, you will need live rotifers (your own continuous cultures) to have much success. Your game plan seems to be a little off but I am sure that you will see that when you get to reading the book that you have. It is an EXCELLENT book for learning to raise clowns.
