Is this a bristleworm?

I've been seeing this guy crawling on my green star polyp frag all day and am wondering if he is going to hurt the coral? They're all in right now because I took it out and tried to remove the worm with tweezers but couldn't catch him!

It's a Bristleworm ... usually harmless and good addition to the clean up crew. However, if it appears to be going after corals {which is rare} ... remove it.

Got it! Dunno know if he was harming coral, but there aren't any fish in the tank so maybe the detritus is scarce or something?

Keep an eye on it and give it a chance ... Like I said, bad one's are rare.

It is rare to see them out in the open in daylight. I would be tempted to put a little bit of flakes in the tank to avoid any potential of it nipping coral from hunger. I have a MASSIVE bristleworm that plows through the sand and it never has hurt my GSP, xenias, frogspawn, mushrooms or kenyas. I wish I could get a picture, but he looks like this only MUCH larger:
