is this a decent wet dry system

wel after some complications with our hang on protien skimmer im thinking of changing to a sump....just wondering if this is an okay system for a 46 gallon tank.....will anything else be needed???

Just my thoughts but at a bear minimum I would go with one that is 9 inches wide, 8 inches like the one you are looking at just sounds like a real tight fit to me. You would need to measure the footprint of the skimmer you want to fit in there first or it may not fit at all, then the pump to drive the skimmer, tubing to the pump from the skimmer. All depends on how you set it up. But I would say there isn't much sump room on that one.
