Is this a good deal??

Hello-
We're needing a skimmer for a 90gal reef, with 50 gal sump, but can't afford to drop 300.00 for the one we want right now. Anybody have any thought on this one...? We can pick it up used from a guy on Craigslist for 125.00. It's the -200 model he is selling.

I am not a big fan of Craigslist..Rip offs and all that.
Will you go to the place and pick it up so you can see what you are going to buy, or do you have to have it shipped?
SWF doesn't like links that sell stuff.

Yes, I will be able to go look at it. Actually the guy posted it on Craigslist, and also on a local aquairum club forum. According to his post, he had a major leak, and lost 150gal of water on the floor. He said after that, he was done with the hobby for a while....and as for the link, it was only to show the specs of the skimmer..........

perfect. Did he mention what brand or model it was?
I buy lots of stuff off craigslist. I've had nothing but great luck, alot of times you find some real steals. I got 100 lbs of LR for 75 bucks coraline and all.
