Is this a good idea?

Picked up a tiny (1 ") blue hippo tang from SWF...after acclimating, he wasnt doing that well, not eating, and getting bullied by one of the other fish. So after 5 days of him hiding behind my heater and not moving/eating, i picked up this breeder box from Walmart. hes been in there for 2 days now and is eating mysis several times a day and is finally swimming around, not just barely staying afloat. I havent read on here or any other forum of people doing this. other than having a QT tank, which i dont have, is this a good idea to keep him in for a few weeks until he gets his strength and appetite up to par? thanks

These guys can be kinda standoffish when first introduced and hide....I've never seen 1 bullied, but you have a little guy as well.....QT would definitely be the best thing for him....Maybe keeping him in that small container might be a bit stressful over time......

thanks. i wanted to keep him in there until he is a solid eater. i know these hippos have to eat alot during this time of their life, and he was just too skiddish, so i figured id keep him in there for a bit. i do plan on setting up a qt though. but for now, i thought it was a good idea.
