someone suggested these..but I am honestly not sure what to get for this tank.
I am going to do FOWLR for now..and when established I know I will want to add corals and a possible anemone.
Can someone tell me if this light is necessary or what would you suggest. I wanted to get something that is not noisy..which they claim and also does not run hot.
PLEASE help anyone as I am looking to make this purchase asap.
What is the difference between T'5 and MH..
I prefer to stay away from MH due to heat, mercury vapors and high energy costs..
thanks much!!!

That is a good light set up to keep soft corals and LPS. Metal Halide bulbs are way more intense, but do create much more heat than T5's. I think that it would be a nice set up for you.

really. If those t 5's are only good for the soft corals and LPS..I can pretty much get away with less expensive lights than those since LFS said I can just do 4 x 65 watt PC orbit lights.
I am not sure which way to go. Would any of you buy refurbished? They are guaranteed for one year as are some of the new ones...
thanks for the advise..
