I'm not going to link it here out of respect for SWF, I'm sure you know how to find it
I have a 200g glass tank, 48"x48"x20" this will be my new reef... the light i was thinking was the CORALIFE 250W HQI AQUALIGHT PRO SERIES. this is the model I was going to get:
48" Aqualight Pro 2X250W HQI/2x96W PC/3x1W Lunar
Dimensions:48"L x 15"W x 2.75"H
I am open for comments and suggestions!
thanks!

I'm not a MH expert, but I am thinking that for a 48 inch square tank you may need to get 2 of those to cover pretty much the whole top of the tank.

yeah the light is decent enough. 500 w of mh for a 200 gallon will create a few missing spots, but ur pc supplemental lights should cover the rest. what kind of a fixture is this?

I have the 24" version on my 93g corner tank and I love it. It covers everything the MH's, Antic and moon lights all in one assembly.

its a great light but like dragonzim said thats a norrow light for a square tank
you might want to buy a retofit kit or pendents

I have a total of 4 of the Coralife Aqualight Pro units, all the way from a 72" to 36", not a single problem, awesome lights

.
As for your tank, the fixture will work, you'll simply have to work around the lighting pattern and accept that you may have dark area's, you almost need 4 lamps to cover a tank thats 4'sq.

Gotcha, yeah I will have pictures of the tank soon, heres the discription thought... Like a said before its 4'x4'x20" for about 200 gal, its glass with Euro Brace... There is a center square over flow that I would say is beteen .5' to 1' I will measure once I pick the tank up...
Should I go with 4 pendants? Or how would you lay this lighting out over the tank? Its going to be reef so i will need alot of light, and I understand this, any other suggestions?
thanks..
