I got several quotes on tanks and found ATM in LasVegas seemed to have the best price/quality but I'm begining to wonder if i'm getting a fair deal after reading some posts on SWF. I was quoted $6000 for a 78"Lx35"Wx39"H. 1.25" thick. On one post they said they were getting a 2000 gal tank for 6k? any comments?

You would not have to worry about me paying that much.
Ouch!  I think you can do better than that. It sounds like a 150 to 180 tank? If so you can do better. You might have to drive a little, but you could save a bunch.

It is sometimes hard to compare these things...can be based on tank shape, options, etc based on the situation you are using it for. Are they doing any install on it?
But I'll tell you what, at that tank size, you don't want a lesser known company that may give you a better price. Use those with high end clientèle because there is some recourse there. You don't want a problem with that tank.

ATM is a local company, I've been to their warehouse and toured the manfacturing area. If you do some comparison shopping and ask the correct questions and request references you will find that there are several manufactures out there that have lower prices, how much lower, who knows. But, ATM has been around for a while, makes some incredible tanks, they are know to be expensive.
