is this aiptasia ???

i cant take a pic because they are so small their are probably 20 of them in my 40 gallon, iv had aiptasia before but not like this it looks very different they dont grow they stay small, it is brown in color and the base of it looks like the base of a tubeworm like i can snap it off i am pretty sure i can so i dont think its aiptasia in my tank their are no single ones but rather clusters on my differnt pats of my rock and i am not sure if it has stung a coral i have never seen this before ???
 
yes they are hydroids
from what iv read they are WORSE then aptasia and pack a strong sting and nothing eats them so please help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boiling water and a turkey baster will also take care of them. Not too much water that you get it on coral or so much you change the tank temp. Want to be very direct here.
