The tips started to go white

I am not expert but I believe white tips means new growth. Do the polyps still extend?

Im no expert by any means but thats a good call. ( I was kinda thinking that but I didnt want to bee stupid) It does look like the polys are still extended there I will keep and eye out and keep ya posted. Do you know the type of coral it is ? Pink birdnest?

+2. i think its new growth. normally a dying sps recedes from the bottom up.

do you have it in indirect current? those little polyps need to move around a bit.
i don't think my pocillapora has white growth tips, but i've seen the same corals grow completely different in different tanks.
where is it in the tank? how far away from the lamps?
