I did a freshwater dip on my Porky Puffer, and he is doing great now... I dipped him in FW for 5 days, two minutes each time, and that seemed to have taken well to him, and is now back to normal... I tried the hyposalinty... but with people talkin about getting the refactometer that costs a lot... I decided to try the FW dips. Turned out just fine....

So you did a fw dip on a fish that had ich and it cured him? i did a fw dip on my clown 1 time for 4 min he laid upsidedown on the bottom of the cup till i let him back in the main tank is this normal?

I did the FW dips. once a day, for a week, for 2 minutes each... that was about 2 months ago, and he is doing great, and it hasn't come back. I only did the FW dips. and that was it
