Really depends on what tank you're putting it on, but it should be fine for soft corals and easier LPS corals. I have the 30 inch Lunar Aqualight on my 29, and so far it's working great. I would suggest spending a little more and getting the lunar light model.

Yeah, as long as you are not trying to keep anything deeper than 18-20 inches alive. That will work great for most things except for most clams and sps's.
