I have a feather duster. I don't know what kind it is but I am told it is not a Hawaiin. Its tube is about 5/16" in diameter with the top section being about 3" long and the lower section 2" long. I noticed last night that the lower section has gotten about 3/4" longer. This morning I cam down to find it about 2" longer. I can tell it is getting longer because the longer section is covered with the sand from my tank whereas the older section is covered with the substrate from the LFS tank. Any my question is, Is this normal for the lower section of the tube to be growing like this? Is it maybe trying to tunnel its way out of my tank? lol
