Is This Normal

I setup my MH lighting today, it's 250watts. My tank looks amazing now. I had a standard 130watt PC setup on it before. I couldn't belive how much more clear everything got. But anyway's I was just curious my anemone hasn't really opened back up since I put the new light up. It's been on for about and hour and a half almost 2.

everything will go through a sort of cycle drop your lighting hours and some people even recomend putting some screen or egcrate over the tank to acclimate everything to the light you will also get an algae cycle this is why you drop the lighting hours I just made the same switch as you

I used to run my PC lights for 11 hours. How long should I run my MH lights?

wow i am surprised you had no algea outbreak form it being on that long.................any ways leave the mh on for 5 hr 1st day 2nd 6 hr 3rd 7hr 4th 8hr

I started at 4 hours and went to 8 by adding an hour a week I got a really bad algae bloom what brand of light and bulbs you get
