If not, what is it called.
I bought it as the generic "hairy mushroom" and would like to positively identify it. (thinking about entering it in the photo contest)
I also found some pics that look similar after doing an "elephant ear" google search.

Not an elephant ear, they always have that strip of clean no tenticle flesh around the edges. I could believe the other one but not sure how in depth hairy mushroom id works.

That's exactly why I asked. Some of the pics I found on the internet did not have the tentacle free zone, yet still called it elephant ear.
Can anyone give me a positive ID on these guys?
