Is this skimmer any good?

Has anyone ever used or heard any good or bad about the excalibur protien skimmers? I'm thinking about buying one from the lfs. TIA.

i have heard about them and read about them but never seen one or used one. y dont you get a CPR Bak-Pak that is what i am getting i hear they are preaty good. and what size tank do you have?

I have an excalibur and I love it. It does a great job keeping the tank clean. A real good part of the skimmer is the overflow box so it skims of the top layer of water so you dont get the oil slick on your tank. I run it on my 75 gallon reef. So there you go thats my opinion hope that helps.
