Is this skimmer good?

Hi, I have a 55 gal tank I want to set up as a SW aquarium. I'm going to buy a large rubbermaid container (or something of the sort) as the sump. I was wondering if the Turbloflotor 1000 is a good protein skimmer?

one of the best in the $200 range. not that popular since ASM and AquaC were better values but the price has come down from the $250+ range to now you can get them for under $200 if you look in the right places. The multi is one of the few real deal hang on skimmers.

Just to be sure This skimmer is meant to be in-sump right?
The reason I'm asking about it is I found a used one online (less than 6 months old) including the Oceanrunner 2700 pump for $100.
Is the Oceanrunner 2700 pump a return pump for the sump? Or is that something else?

yeah the regular 1000 goes in sump. the 1000 multi can go in or out. I would jump on that deal. the ocean runner 2700 is the pump that pumps the water into the skimmer. Its the pump required for the 1000. the pump itself cost abou $80 new.
