I Have A 15g Tank And I Was Wondering If This Skimmer Would Be Ok For My
15 G Tall, Lr/ls .....
And What Is Needed To Run A Skimmer? Or Can I Just Drop It In And It Runs By It's Self?

DOES IT MATTER WHAT KIND OF SKIMMER CAUSE WHAT I SAY IS IF I CAN GET THE SAME OUT OF A CHEAPER ONE THEN A MORE EXPENSIVE ONE.... I WAS LOOKING AT THIS ONE....
Lee's Counter Current Protein Skimmers help prevent toxic tank syndrome by removing proteins and other organics before they turn into nitrogen compounds or other toxins that may be harmful to aquarium inhabitants. Through ADSORPTION, protein and other organic compounds in the water form a coating around bubbles as they rise to the top. The resulting foam floods over the top of the foam riser tube and is captured in the collection cup before it can re-enter the aquarium. Easily adjusted, low maintenance protein skimmers come pre-assembled, with 2-way plastic valves and hanger included. For use in saltwater aquariums and reef tanks up to 30 gallons. Skimmer is 12-1/16" long. Shipping weight: 1 lb.
IS THIS GONNA WORK?

ANY skimmer is better than NO skimmer.
The inexpensive Lee's skimmer would work just fine. However, it runs off of an air stone and air pump. I would get one of the wooden air stone/diffusers (I'm not sure if it comes with a wooden one), they produce more foam.

you dont really NEED a skimmer on a nano.. in fact there are great systems that run no mechanical filtration

Skimmer or no skimmer is an ENDLESS debate. Personally, I believe a skimmer is necessary for long term water quality but that's my opinion (I'm not here to preach).
When I said 'any skimmer is better than no skimmer', I was referring to the 'cheap vs, expensive skimmers' question. I myself run an Aqua C Remora on my 40 gal breeder and my 10 gal nano.

So What You Are Saying Is For The Sake Of My Water Quality (although Not Really Needed) Put One In? Wether Is 10 Bucks Or 200$ Right?

If it were me, yes I would definitely put a skimmer in. My Remora retails for $160, I have 2 of them. The Remora is the best skimmer on the market for tanks 75 gal and down. I personally believe in buying the best in performance so that's why I own a Remora. However, I also believe in skimming. Water changes will only get you so far. If you're on a budget, buy the inexpensive one by Lee's. It's very easy to install and pretty much runs itself.

Ok I Will Get The Inexpensive One For Now And Will Add The Remora Later On When I Get A Little Bit Of Cash Saved Up,,, I Decided To Start Up A Fish Tank At The Wrong Time, Right When I Found Out The Wife Is Pregnant So I Have To Switch The Expenses Over To My Baby Now, So Penny Pinching Is At Hand Right Now....

The Remora is an excellent choice. Remember, there are other good skimmers out there that aren't as expensive as the Remora. Just do your research and you'll be fine.
