I have a 55 gal tank with a 4 inch ls bed, would 67 pounds of lr be too much rock for the tank?

I think it will be great. I got 50lbs for my 55gallon and I think it looks empty.

i think the general rule is about 1 1/2 pounds of rock to what size the tank is but that might only be for reef tanks. :notsure:

It also depends on the TYPE of LR u r using. Fiji is porous and light while Floridian rock is more dense. This means u may have a bigger volume of rock that is lighter. U need to take that into account in factoring how much rock to use.
