is this too much

two koralia #1's in a 30 gal reef system?that will be 800gal of flow without my return pump. too much or just right??
also looking for a good return pump and overflow combonation that anyone can recommend. will be going into a fuge as well as protein skimmer.
recommendations on skimmer as well.

Depends what you're keeping, I don't consider it too much, that's only 26x turnover not counting a return. I have about the same in my DT, and am considering adding another 620 gph powerhead. I keep mostly SPS, LPS, zoanthids, and a few shrooms and rics.

Sounds about right-I put 2 of the #2's in my 55 gal tank and I keep similar stock as Monk. I found that I had to move my pumps and my corals around to find that sweet spot(s) for each one of them.

ok thanks guys new to the reef tank. im buying my light system today. 4
t5ho's. 156 watts total system. 36" bulbs. as for a skimmer what do you think? i want the skimmer first so i can build my fuge around it. any recomendations.... also what are some really nice starter corals.
