Is this Zoo going to die?

Hi, I just got a 55g tank with live sand and live rock. The tank was an established tank when taken down on Sunday. The sand sat in 2 inches of water for 4 days before I filled it up. The live rock was from another tank and sat out for at least several hours before going into the tank.
I filled it up with new water yesterday and was expecting it to begin a cycle. My ammonia level .50ppm with both Nitrate and Nitrite at zero so some sort of cycle is happening.
Last night I noticed a single brown zoo polyp. It is not anchored anywhere so it is kind of rolling around. It opened last night and this evening, but as I said, it is not "stuck" anywhere. Top it off, since I don't have my lights yet (they are in the mail), I have a 10g fluorescent hood light on it.
So what should I do with this guy? Anchor him (and how?) or leave it be and let it be part of the cycle.

Thanks, J

Just take out the zoo and a piece of rock. Dry the spot on the rock where you are going to place the zoo. I usually pat the zoos and spot of rock where the zoo is going to be placed with paper towels, then apply krazy glue-Gel kind. Gel kind works best.

Well he has lodged himself under the end of a rock and seems to be staying there (has done so for 2 days now) so I have not tried to glue him yet. Unfortunately for him, I am getting 50lbs of live rock tomorrow so I will have to move him. At that time I might consider glueing him to a nice piece of rock. So far, he looks healthy even though my tank is cycling.
pH: 8.3
Ammonia: 0.50
Nitrate 0
Nitrite 0
I had not planned on critters being alive when I got the setup (used off craigs list), but they tagged along!
On the bright side (no pun intended), he will have t5 lighting starting tomorrow!

did he move on his own? if so it sounds like an aptasia! aptasia are pest anemones that re-produce rapidly! you better hope that thing dies in the cycle or you should use boiling water or joe's juice in a syringe. just stick the syringe into the anemone and squirt the water or joe's juce. (this is assuming that it is in fact an aptasia)

He was "rolling" around in the water current. I will take a picture of him today and request an ID.
Thanks,
J
