The planets have aligned, and God shined on me today.........................
I was showing my brother the frag pack i ordered yesterday, when my wife says " I want a small tank to go on my nightstand!"
I couldnt believe my ears, I answered very carefully( she has said things like this before just to be mean) and she said she really wanted a tiny tank.
I didnt end up putting dwarf seahorse in my 5 gallon i had set up, so i will change to about 8 lbs of live sand, and cant wait to have a 5.5 gallon pico on the nightstand. I'll be able to put all my frags in it, and ive been wanting sexy shrimp for a while!

It is so cool to have what you need to set up a new tank. In no time it looks good and (you must put up pic's).
I just set a cool looking 2.5gal frag tank.

Its pretty nice only having to buy rock and sand. Im going to be using water from my 60 gallon reef so no cycle.
Im sure theres lots of you guys and gals out there who get in trouble for even MENTIONING a new tank..................So i better act fast before this opportunity passes! ITs going to be a 5.5 gallon reef with a whisper filter rated at 10 gallons, 2x13 watt lights. Im keeping it zoos, ric's for the most part, mabye a few lps frags. With sexy shrimp and mabye a citron clown goby, not sure about that yet.
Yall will get plenty of pics, dont worry!

Ive got a beautifully shaped rockwith lots of holes in my reef tank that im thinking of adding into the nano. But if not it will be fully cured, preferrable a coraline covered piece from a fellow reefer around here somewhere.
Hopefully i can have it set up by the end of this week!

I just got 100 hundred $ to spend how i want, so i think the nano is gonna be started today!! All i have to buy is a few lbs of rock, and take 5 gallons of water out of my DT. I will get pics up tonight. I cant keep shrimp in m DT because of a bratty fish, so i am thinking the only live stock i want is a hi fin banded goby pistol shrimp pair. do yall think those two would do okay? i am having a hang on refugium on the tank, so that will help take care of some of the load. (im using a small hang on back filter, taking out all the media, and having a small 4" by 3" refugium)
Pics will be up tonight if anything happens!
