Spent a couple hours today cleaning this stuff off my rocks today. So now that I know what it is can anyone that has had this specific hair algae help me with some good advise to get rid off it. About 5 months ago I battled the same stuff till I finally gave in and took the rock out and fried it in the sun for 3 weeks. I don't want to go down that road again. I have a 40gallon sump with 12 gallons being a refugium loaded with cheato and other macro and live rock no sand. I run phosban reactor, cut downed on feedings, weekly water changes, water tests great everytime. By the way it's 75 gallons.
