Its not saltwater, but its cool

I watched it for 1/2 hour till the wife & kids wanted to go. It was eating & would suck up the rocks & then spit them out it was cool to see. They have it at the zoo in my town so I will go again & try get better pictures. They live in our rivers but there arn't many left

I knew everyone would like it. When I saw it the first thing I told my wife is that I have to take some pictures & post them here because its cool.

Oh man... I just got an amazing pic of one of these at work... I will have to post it tomorrow. I don't think one of these would work in a home aquarium... They can get to be 10 or 15 feet long... (at least in the wild)

I don't know if this is real or not but supposedly this fish was caught on Lake of the Woods (Northern Minnesota/Canadian border lake)... These fish do get pretty big though...

Holy $#@% thats a big fish. I remember seeing some of them when I was a kid because it was legal to fish for them, its not anymore, the ones I saw were huge but not anywhere near that size that awsome. I wonder how many g tank it would need :notsure: .

I used to work on a commercial dragger off long island. we got a salt water one that was about my size... 5'4''. it was one of the most interesting fish ive ever seen up close.
