haha, im just kidding, although i do have a good idea for everyone.
ive been looking for a pair of some type of fish to try my hand at breeding. i found a pair of false percs at my LFS today, i decided to pick them up. however, i had a moroon clown in my reef that i would have to move to my other fowlr. i didnt mind because i was planning on doing this anyways. so my clownfish feeds off of the surface form my hand. i figure it will be easy to nab him with the net. well.... hes pretty quick and i have a lot of live rock and corals for him to hide is.
so i turned off all of the lights, within 20 minutes he was right on the surface in the corner where he usualy is sleeping. because of my HOB filter, my net wouldnt fit in there, so i woke him up with a flash light. he came out, but was still sleeping. all the lights were off so he couldnt see the net. he was too sleepy to move around too much so i easily netted him agains the glass.
i thought i would share my experiences and idea with all of you cause i know there are so many who always have trouble catching their damsels.
anyone else every do this?
