IV Tubing

Hey everyone...I found a site where you can buy 1 to 100 of those IV tube sets...no more knots. One IV line costs. $1.05 shipping is standard $9.99
I was told only medical people can get hold of those, but I found this site. I ordered just 2 (all I need anyway for now) to see if it would go through, and it did....I used my paypal account to pay.
These things are great to use from acclimating your new critters to dripping kalk. The site is called DEALMED
Just thought I would share because I really like the drip method for so many things. LOL...when someone was in the hospital with just the saline drip...removing the needle part..I would keep the line, and bring it home sneaking like a thief hiding it in my purse.

You little thief
I do the same thing with the plastic pitchers and tubs. They make great containers for adding top off water and holding anything from LR to new fish.

LIKE a thief...sort of ACTING like a thief, putting it in my purse...LOL..They are just going to toss that USED stuff, I'm not taking it out of the cabinets...LOL..but it's tempting. Containers can be found anywhere, but IV tubing was a challenge. EMTs can get the stuff and so can nurses, but regular joes...not.

Wow... flower.. only you would steal medical supplies from a hospital for your own fish tank. XD
J/K...
I don't think that I would want an IV line for my tank... it works great... or at least I would think so... but I have something weird with medical supplies. I would get the chills every time I would look at it. LOL.

LOL...it has a little roller controller so you won't need knots (the boot looking thingy) it has a drip starter you squeeze to start the flow (the plastic round thing at the top, and removes air from the line.) there are no needles, nothing to freak you out...besides it's in the back where you don't look at it.
When the patient (usually a family member) has a saline drip IV. only saltwater was in the line. The nurses remove the IV and drap it on the holder and tells the patient it's time to be released to get dressed and they will be back with paperwork. I remove the little plastic IV insert that was in the patient (it looks like a needle but it's not) and take the tubing home. Believe me, it was paid for in full by the insurance and was going to be tossed out. 100% I didn't steal anything, but I am embarrassed to tell them I want it for a fish tank...so I put it in my purse and leave with it.

Haha flower... I was just joking with you.... but, that is a good idea that I'll look into... even though knots work fine for me.... maybe later!
It's definitely an interesting idea though.
