My Asfur Angle and my Vermiculated Angle are covered in ICH. Today I am pulling all of the inverts and putting them into another tank. What is the best way to get rid of the ICH without killing the fish?
Yesterday I dosed the tank with Kent RX P and dropped the salinity down to 1.022. This stressed the inverts, but did not kill them. I'm thinking of removing the inverts and coral and dropping the salinity down even further to 1.016 for 2 weeks while treating the tank with more Kent RX P.
Please let me know if this sounds like a good solution or is there a better way to go about getting rid of the ICH :help:

Best not to medicate your tank, especially with that product since it is not likely to be of any benefit. Where did you put your inverts?
Do you have live rock in your tank?
Take a look at the ich post in the FAQ Thread, as well as the post on hyposalinity.

I also have ICK...I guess. I have a 55 gallon tank and haven't had any problems with the fish until recently....I added water (tap water) to my tank because I wasn't able to go to store and get distilled water. Right after that I started loosing fish everyday. I have lost a mandarin gobie, a few damsels and it looks like some others have the same thing. I just bought some live rock but it was after the ICK...but I didn't know what it was or I would have waited until I got my tank back to normal. I tested everything and all seemed to be ok...can this get into the corals? I'm new to this and have no idea what to do. I know to add the medicine for ICK in freshwater tanks but don't know anything about the saltwater...please help....I don't want to loose everything!!!! HELP.......dd PS I haven't learned how to use this either...this really isn't a reply it's a CALL FOR EDUCATED ADVICE...
