I wasn't really sure where to post this so its starting out here. I am hoping to come up with a different treatment for the red bug in a tank. Only reason is, because the Interceptor seems to be a bit allusive for some. I did a thread a while back and got hit pretty hard with the "I have something new, and you can't have it" things. I never went forward with the idea. However I am now getting close to pulling the trigger on the idea. Since I have set up my 20L I plan on taking down my 29 Bio Cube which has red bugs in it even though I own zero acro's and have never had any acro's. Never the less they exist in my tank. "IF" this works, or works with different side affects, at least folks will know. I did tell another member on here about it and he had said that the idea of Ivermectin was discussed, but never followed through on. I'm not sure if it has been done or not yet, which is why I'm posting this. I need help to figure this out and maybe a starting dose of the meds??? To be honest I'm totally lost on the idea but I'm willing to dose it in the not to far future. Maybe on my X-mas shut down so I can watch the tank pretty close. So I'm looking for some experts to weigh in with some knowledge.
I already have the bottle of Ivomec, I've had it for a while now. Its bought right off the shelf.
Maybe this needs to be moved to a different forum??
