Gorgeous fish!
I would ask Spanko and BTLDreef, I think they both have experience with Jawfish.
You have sufficiently deep substrate, correct?

Reference text says 3" min for burrowing. I would PM Spanko and BTLD and see what they say.
If I were you, I would make the adjustment to accommodate this magnificent fish. Good luck!

Personally, I don't recommend this fish and really think they are better off left in the oceans. *These are no like the more common Pearly Jawfish in terms of care AT ALL*
According to Bob Fenner, these fish do not fair well at all in smaller systems and most will die within a few weeks. BioCubes really don't provide the right environment for them. Of course, there are a few people who have had success with them in smaller systems, but most fail. They also, despite what many sites claim, are NOT "tropical" fish. They prefer cooler waters, sometimes as low as 50-60F. They also need much deeper sand beds (Fenner recommends 8+ inches in depth).
If you're really considering this fish, you should read up on what Fenner has to say about them on Wet Web Media: http://wetwebmedia.com/BlueSptJawArt.htm
Also, research a little about Blue Spot Jawfish Disease. I've personally seen it happen and it's terrible. The fish just literally rots away and there is NOTHING that I have found that will cure it. After watching my last one die from this, I did A LOT of research on these guys and found that they're really not right for most peoples systems. I think if you read everything Fenner has written about them, you'll find the same to be true. Beautiful fish, but not right for a home aquarium, especially a nano tank.

The banhammer of hopes and dreams has spoken.
No wonder you are called "Mantis".
Thanks for adding your expertise.

Well you have crushed my dreams of this fish
Im into keeping fish healthy and alive so i will skip this one
What size tank do you think would work well with them to me it would be pointless
for the fish to be in a 120g as you would never see them but i would be much happier
to keep the fish alive so he stays in my LFS in a 1g pico for now with a for sale sign
(maybe now that i know this it should say please rescue me)
but now comes the task of well i need another super cool small fish

Sorry. I wish someone had told me the info on them in the beginning. Everybody on forums was just going "cool fish, but I don't want to spend the money ... cool fish, but I don't they jump ... they need 3" deep sand bed." Nowhere did I find that they were a cooler water species, or that they needed deeper than 3", etc. Even most sites where you can buy them give the wrong information, even the size they can reach is wrong on most websites. So once I lost my second one, I really researched, and when I found everything Bob Fenner had written about them, I was shocked.
I also think that they're a waste in a bigger tank, but that seems to be what's recommended. Fenner did tell one person that a 30-50G cube setup could possibly work, but it would really need to be species only, or maybe one other fish that was more of a top dweller and didn't ever go near the bottom of the tank (like a cardinalfish). I hate that fish stores keep them in the critter cages and picos, just to keep them from jumping. I've thought about putting one in my 55 refugium because half of it has a 6-8" sand bed, but I'm afraid that it will fight with my Yasha Goby, so I've just decided not to try another one until I loose the Yasha.
What other fish are already in the tank or are you planning on putting in the tank?

Well i bought a mis bar today but my girl hates it so it wont be in there much longer
So it will only have a few corals hoping to get a nice clam soon if that is doable in my tank
and a green torch i also have a sand sifting star and a small clean up crew
thats it got any ideas for nice colors i dont mind spending money lol

A midas blenny is similar to the Jawfish in colors. The blue in its eyes glows, which is really cool. They have neat little personalities too. I just don't recommend them with gobies/firefish which they tend to show aggression towards, or other blennies.
One of my new favorites is the Yellow Assessor. They swim upside down, and I just find it really cool. Very mellow reef fish that just weaves in and out of the rock work.
Most flasher/fairy wrasses will work well.
Goby/Pistol shrimp pair
BiColor Blenny (if you didn't do the midas)
Pearly Jawfish (the colors bore me and aren't nearly as vibrant as the Blue Dot, but they're much hardier and have a great little personality)

YouTube some videos of Midas blennies. There are some where it looks like the blenny is playing hide and seek. They're very social, maybe that will help her like it more
