So I just got my Yellowheaded Jawfish yesterday and it started burrowing and eating right away.. I'm wondering how many Yellowheaded Jawfish can go into a long(er) hexagon 45 gallon tank, I already have one but from what I read I could put another one in there also, thoughts?

Would have been better to add them at the same time. But it may be okay to add another now.

- if youre insitant on adding another try to move soem rocks around a bit to throw off the territory of your first one. personally i wouldnt add another until youre sure this one is doing great, these things are notorious jumpers if they dotn liek soemthing

Nuro is right, they are quite suicidal fish and very sensitive from my experience. If you don't have a tight lid on your tank you can expect to find it on your floor at some time or another. I have read that they need space and it's not wise to put two together, but not impossible. If you do attempt this, do scatter rocks around, make sure the substrate is deep, and although I agree that it would be good to make sure the fish is healthy, if you want to add the second one you have to do it before the other completely claims the territory.
