Hello I have a jbj 4x65 two white and two blue on my 80 gallons tank. It's works for me it a fish only tank with live rock. The tank has been set up for almost 3 years now. I also have jbj on my twenty gallon with fish and stars and mushroom and leather and this tank has been set up for almost half a year. Everything looks fine jbj can cost little bit more if you want try retro they cost less and do the same job! Hope this help ;)
It's all depends what you do with your lights it good for fishes but if you want to put in corals you should fine out what kinds of corals and what type of lights (watts) do they need <img src="graemlins//yeahright.gif" border="0" alt="[yeahright]" />

I'm currently building a canopy with 2 55 watt PC from ahsupply.com. I'm supposed to get the stuff in today or tomorrow. I'm planning on adding 2 MH 175 watt's after I burn some NO blue actinic's out in a cheap shop ballast.
The retro kits were very inexpensive 65 bucks for the retro kits.

I guess I am the odd one here. I love my JBJ lights. Have had them for 3 months and no problems at all. My corals were doing great untill I bought a rouge bi-color angel. Have fragged the candy once since the new lights too.
I am very satisfied.
