Now before anyone asks this is the new model, so it won't burn down my house. Ok so I went with this light that I got from my friend and he sold it to me for $200. I plan on keeping sps and clams under it.
Specs:
24" Fixture with 1x 250Mh 2x65 actinics and 4 Moonlights.
MODS:
250w Icecap Ballast (new one)
Bulbs: My friend gave me this light with a new 14k Phoenix bulb, a Coralife 20k bulb, and a XM 10k bulb (all new). The actinics are old, but I was planning on replacing anyway.
Dose anyone have this fixture? What do you think about it?

I have the same setup unly 48" 2x250 I love it lots of light in my 55 I also have icecaps and phoenix 14k

what size tank? you got a good deal the icecap and bulbs are worth 200

Ya hes a really nice guy. I plan on setting up a Finnex 30g M tank, but Im ordering the no light model for cheap. I WILL hang this because I know otherwise it will fry my stuff. 380w for 30g is like 12.5 watts per gallon, so my SPS will grow like mad.

I get about a 5 degree temp swing but I have a 55 with a 55 gal fuge so quite a little water but mine sits on the origional legs so about 5 inches off the water is all
