I have s few spots in my tank that have what looks like the tenticles of a jellyfish. The tenticles are coming out of the gravel of the tank.
What are these and do they need to be removed?

It is unlikely. These are probably worms, such as spionid worms or spaghetti worms. See the hitch hiker thread in the new hobbyists forum. It is unlikely that they are harmful, probably just normal tank critters
