Jellyfish Scyphistomae

It has taken a long time to figure out exactly what I have in my tank and now since I know it is being a pain to find a way to remove it. I have Jellyfish Scyphistomae in my tank and I am wondering if anyone on this board knows what will eat/remove these. I know some species of nudibranchs eat them but trying to find them for sale seens to be an excersize in futility. Kalk past and concentrated lemon juice in the syringe kills them but there are a lot of them and I worry about tank unbalancing using too much of it. Anyone got additional halp on this?

Hi, and welcome to the site...do you have a picture?
I looked up the jellyfish you posted, and to be honest I think you have them confused with aptasia. They look very simular but often are more brown...although I have seen white ones where no light reaches them.
If it does turn out to be aptasia (only pictures can tell) Joes Juice, Aptasia X or peppermint shrimp are the cures I always count on. I zap the big ones with Joes juice/Aptasia X, then purchase peppermint shrimp to gobble the little ones.

Aptasia X does not kill these things and I have found the little jellies swimming around in the tank before they get sucked into the overflow and become prefilter bait. The pods are at most 1/16" diameter with maybe 1/4" long filiment sweepers. Some of the bigger ones pulse like a jelly attached to a stalk. Hope this pic is good enough, the pods are very small and almost impossible to take a picture of with a normal camera

Maybe some type of hydroid....hold on and wait for more expert advice. Saxman or Spanko would know better.
